Golf Events

The Spring Break Junior Golf Camp was a success despite the rain! Thank you to the 20 participants who stuck it out and shined through the rain. Thank you to Dustin, Tom and Sami for being great leaders and helping each Junior Golfer on their game. Thank you to parent-volunteer Stacy for the invaluable help during the week as well.

The schedule for the 2012 Junior League is available! On the website click on the "Junior League 2012" tab to see the scheduled dates you can register for. Spring and summer league were combined this year, and upon registering you pick the dates you can participate in. We are looking forward to a great season and the PGA Junior/Family tees are now installed!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped in the fundraisers BRJGA put on last year to purchase those tees!

This is a very exciting accomplishment and addition to the golf course & our program as the Junior League can now offer a progressive learning system starting at the PGA Junior Level I Tees, progressing to the PGA Junior Level II Tees, progressing to the Level III Red Tees, Silver Tees, & Gold Tees in accordance with the PGA Learning Program.

The schedule for the 2012 Junior Academy (instruction series) is also available! On the website click on the "Junior Academy 2012" tab to see the scheduled dates and times. Register now as Week 1 starts April 18. Additional Academies will be made available throughout the summer as well.

This year in the Academy the juniors will progress through the PGA Learning Program and receive a booklet congruent with their golf level with complemental instruction, progress reports for various skills, achievement pins for learned skills that can be displayed on their hat or golf bag, and a certificate once the level is completed.

Join the Academy and League to experience the whole PGA Learning Program, which provides fundamental to more advanced instruction combined with positive incentives to encourage young golfers to reach their full potential.

Registration opens tomorrow. Please secure your spot by stopping by the golf course tomorrow, (Saturday, April 7) between 10am and 2pm. During that time I can answer any questions and parents are welcome to have some fun too & hit some new golf clubs at the Callaway Demo Day!
