How This Works, Simply Stated:
In this Junior Golf Learning Program, fundamental to more advanced instruction combined with positive incentives encourage young golfers to reach their full potential.

Special Learning Material & Incentives I provide:
Each junior will receive a U.S. Kids Golf booklet congruent with their golf skill level. Images in the booklets break down each step visually for certain skills & is a great resource for juniors to refer back to. Progress reports and skill challenges in the booklets keep parents updated and let juniors know what they can work on. We revisit skills and achievement pins can be earned - the pins generate incentive and motivation while encouraging improvement.

There are 5 skills in each level that need to be mastered before moving on, as the next book builds on those fundamentals & skills. Because of this it is important juniors bring their booklets with them to each class (leave them in their golf bags) so their progress can be tracked. The achievement pins for learned skills can be displayed on a junior's golf bag or hat.

Special Learning Material & Incentives parents may purchase:
Last year, after many requests from junior participants (and parents), I started ordering the hats that go with the learning program as they can only be ordered through a U.S. Kids Teacher (pictured above). This year you will notice on the registration there is an option to order one of these hats (it's a great value for a USKG twill hat with an embroidered PGA logo and our custom logo embroidered) as well as a bag tag. The bag tags are large polished emblems and juniors can display the first one on their bag and after completing that level, parents can order the next one as a special award/memento for their junior's achievement and how proud they are. Juniors love collecting these on their golf bags as indicators of their success, something they are proud of and badges of honor, along with their achievement pins.
*Note: I provide the booklets and achievement pins! (The bag-tags are $3.50)

Additional Information on Days/Times of Classes:
Class times and the level for each class will be based on a first-come first-serve basis*. The schedules below for Spring, Summer and Fall will reflect if a level for each class-time available has been designated yet (based on those who have already signed up). If a level has not yet been designated and you would like that time, register now & reserve that time for a certain level by clicking the RED BUTTON on the right side available from any page on this site. If a class time is already designated a level that works for you and that class is not full, you may register for that class as well!**
Once classes are full, it will be indicated below.

*I am committed to teaching appropriate skills and improving the golf performance of each individual. Juniors need to be grouped based on experience... therefore if a specific day and time is preferred please sign up as soon as possible. If no specific day & time is preferred Juniors will be placed into an appropriate class.

This Academy Program was started in 2010 by Erica Haney, and is one of the original EHGolf Learning Programs. Launched in 2010, it has continued every year for every season and has been very successful. The success of the program is advertised by juniors who sign up for multiple Academies throughout the year, every year, as they continue to build on their foundations and learn more advanced skills. The success of EHGolf is also exhibited by those juniors who have been involved in EHGolf Academies, still are, and have achieved other successes: In 2012 two juniors involved in the Academies & coaching programs, Hannah Dupay & Sydni Kobayashi, were ranked 2nd in the state in their respective age groups. Last year, in 2013 a continuing athlete with Erica Haney and EHGolf Learning Programs, Hannah Dupay, age 10, won IGA Juniors Districts.

Continually updating class topics and introducing new ways to learn and have fun!

The only Academy like it in Idaho!

Testimonies from parents:

1 comment:

  1. I love this Jr. Golf Program. My daughter Hannah has been participating for 2 years now and has become an exceptional golfer. Erica is very knowledgeable and Hannah has done so well with her. Between private lessons, league and academies, Hannah took third in the IGAJr State Championship as well as many other awards these last two years. I would recommend ERICA and these programs to everyone!
