  • "What is the benefit of orchestrating your junior programs at Falcon Crest?"
Falcon Crest offers Idaho's premier practice facility benefiting both students and the instructor. There is no limit on different shots and skills that can be taught and learned here. As an instructor I feel fortunate I get to use this amazing facility everyday for my craft. The juniors who participate in the programs I offer are also unbound by any restraints from a lack of space or lack of the proper setup required to receive well-rounded and thorough instruction on every facet of the game. Not only is this the only practice facility of it's kind in Idaho, Falcon Crest Golf Club has 3 vastly different courses at our disposal. Lessons can be conducted on the course and with the 3 options there is never a time we cannot find an open hole to maximize what we are learning by taking it directly to the playing field. As many of us know, at most 18-hole courses during prime-times, the summer, a tournament or while different leagues are running there is no chance to do an on-course lesson, let alone spend adequate time on a hole learning a real situation shot.  My programs always consist of time on the course. For myself having all these resources to utilize makes it so much fun to teach because I can always carry out the lesson plan and goals for each class with no restraints. This makes me extremely happy. At Falcon Crest I love being myself and love letting the juniors be themselves which is possible at this facility.

  • "Does a junior need their own set of golf clubs to participate?"
At Falcon Crest we have lots of junior clubs the juniors can use while participating in the different junior programs!

  • "Does my junior need to have experience before playing in league?"
Yes, they should have a background in golf, even one Academy session is great!

  • "Do you recommend doing the Academy and League at the same time?"
Yes, definitely! The Academy is more skill driven with continuous instruction from a golf teacher & League is the perfect time to play with others the same age and level and implement those skills learned.

  • "What type of shoes should be worn?"
Closed-toe shoes. Tennis shoes are great. Golf shoes if you have them.
